Once upon a time in a classrom...

Henry: Today, We make a blog!Simona: Blog? Are you kidding me?, why blog!?... Why not a tumblr??Henry: ... We make a blog!Simona: Y0Y Noo... Ok I'll make a blog...

 And finally Simona make a blog, but she think that tumblr is better than blogger.

When Simona created a blog, she think that was a good idea, maybe something bored but good idea, because she think learned with that. She taked a good choice, because she put her heart in her blog, she tried do very well, made all the activities and created a good design blog.

So, when she began to making the activities and with the past of time, she began to change her thinking about the blog, she understood that the blog was very easy for her and very funny too. Her english began to change too, because she learned many new words and her writing progressed. And when the time past, she learned that the blog can be a good experience and a advatage for her because she knew many things about computer and internet sistem, and this situation was easy for her.
This experience used to learn and spend a good time in the classroom, break up with the routin.

In this oportunity, Jennifer and Neil talked about the people who live in a tiny space, this situation is common in UK and the rest of the world, and this number of people who live in a tiny space all the days grow up.

Jennifer and Neil listened a clip from Jennifer Pak, BBC correspondent, who talked about a man who lived in Hong Kong and who changed his small space for 30m2, to make it multifuncional. She talked about how the people who live in small places bought gadgets and make their lives easier.

This program is very interesting because they talked about the form to transform a tiny space in a good and lovely place where the people lives in pease and they watched us that this situation to tiny space in the flats or houses grew up all the days.

Diet or not Diet, this is the question...

I don't have any specific diet, I only eat many foods, but I really would like to change any things about my form to eat. For example I need to eat more fruits and vegetables, change the type of meat that I eat and don't eat much candy.

When I was a child my diet changed so much, because I was fat when I was fourteen I ate much fruit, vegetables and fish, I didn't eat butter or sugar let alone bread or candies. My body replied in a good way and lost weight.

In Chile there is many diferents dishes, like empanadas or porotos con riendas, but there is a salad that I really love, this is "ensalada a la chilena" and contain tomatoes, onions, oil and salt. It's really good because this salad is fresh and easy to prepare.

I think that specific diets are dangerous because all the extreme sides aren't good, but if you take a good diet, vegetarian or not, your body reply very well and your health will be good.

Junk food is the worst food that exsist in the world, high in fat, sugar, salt and calories, but it's very delicious. Junk food is Coke, fried fast food, pizza, tacos, hamburgers, gum, candy, carbonated beverages. I think it's popular because is easy to eat, cheaper than others foods.

The food and drink changed my life as years went by, when I was a child the food that I ate was supervised by my mother, but now, I watch what I eat. Now I drink more coffee and eat many other foods but I think that my diet is good.

The adventures of Robin Hood

The story talked us a many adventures of a young man who lived in the Sherwood forest that reuned a group of many people who lived in a misery and become in a group of thiefs who stolen to rich people and gave to poor people.
The book talked us about this man who lived a good life but when he knew the reality that the other people passed, he began to defended the poor people of the rich people who oppressed to others. He fought with the Nothingham's sheriff and the Prince Juan who made a public force to obtein the wealth to the nobles who to oppossed them.

Is when Robin married with lady Mariane, the baron of Arlongford daughter's, that the ceremony is interrupted by a band of knight and they refgued in the Sherwood forest and promissed that always be took care to the people who need more. And Robin was become in the prince of the thiefs.

Marianne was loked up with her father in a tower, but she scaped and met with her boyfriend. But the Brother Miguel followed her and become in "little Juan"

While, the prince Juan felt in love with Marianne and followed her desperately and he burnt the casstle of his father.

In the final, Robin and the others shielf knew a unknown knight who returned the smile to Robin, because he returned the noble's titles to Robin and the other persecuted and they can returned to Nothingham and Robin can married with Marianne.

The prince Juan is arrested for his crimes and condemned.


I really love this stoiry because is Robin Hood a good man who help to others, he is brave and a expert thief and although stealing to others is a bad thing, I think that all time need a hero.

I'm very bad at eating fruit, because I don't like so much but always trying to eat. I think that I will go to the party all the free days in the next weekend, because is Halloween and I think I will have much time for my hobbies and my friends here in Santiago, but I need to study tomorrow for my phonetics classes.

I have many things that I love doing when I'm on holidays, like sleeping for a long time in the mornings, go to mall with my friends and spend a good time with my parents. But I have one thing that I hate doing in my house, any time and this is it... washing dishes.

All the time I say to myself... "Simona you need to study all days, you need practice English" and in this case, I must remember to practice my english for my phonetic test.

I love all languages , but I have my favorite (with English) and I'd like to learn and this is Italian, I really love that because when I listen to people talking transport myself to a other world where I have a gondola and go to the river singing my favorites songs.

Animal species 'extinction crisis'

In the program 6 Minute English the discusion was about extinction animal species.
Rob and Feifei spoke about the illegal trade in wildlife, Rob sayd that 200 governments had been meeting in Bangkok to talked about how to tackle this big problem, but before to entrance in the main plot of discussion, they made a question for the listeners.

When did the dodo bird become extinct?

Feifei and Rob, discused about the expression "dead as a dodo" they make reference about the extincted bird, and can be used this expression to describe something that was completely dead or no longer working.

they said that some experts were predicting a global 'extinction crisis'. So it's an extremely urgent stop this situation because this problem was increasing. They took a references with Mary Rice from the Environmental Investigations Agency and David Shukman, BBC correspondent. She said that the function how some people organised this illegal trade like the people never been intercepted because they taken many precautions, and he said that exist many things for made like having an international agreement clearly together a police co-operation and political will to halt the killing.

I really love this program because it open a vision about this big problem, because the people threaten with life of the most vulnerable. This situations make me think that this world is very sad, because the people kill animals for its skins, horn, etc, or for enjoyment, instead of made it for save them life or because they need something to eat.

This situation wasn't unusual because since that the humans made weapons that they killed any thing that they see and thay can killed, inclusive other people, always the most vulnerable.

Chilean Horror History

Her name was Catalina and she was 20 years old. This girl was very happy, she had a good family, many friends and a boyfriend his name was Diego. 

But not all was good to Catalina, for three weeks she fought with her boyfirend and the things between both wasn't fine, she cried a lot all the days because Diego screamed and said that Catalina was a bad girlfirend and she cheated him, but wasn't real.

Catalina took a decision, she talked with Diego and broke up with him. Diego was devastated and imagined many things like Catalina was in her bed with other guy, between others.

In the other side of this situation. Catalina was very sad about it, she loved Diego but he wasn't a good guy. Even, Diego walked arround Catalina's house and he talked with other friends of her, he searched Catalina and called her every night. But she was afraid of him, she didn't support this situation and she talked about it to her parents. They took a decision about Diego and they talked to him, but Diego didn't stop and he searched Catalina again and she decided talked with him.

A night, Catalina and Diego went to "Los Tulipanes" squear to talk. He said that he loved her, but Catalina didn't answer. Diego was upset and she took Catalina for her shoulders and shaked it against the flor, she was scared and ran very fast leaving behind to Diego.

But Diego ran for her and when they stopped ran a drunk man arrived Catalina and threatened her, she tried to scaped but the man stabbed her, Diego screamed and attacked the man, but he stabbed him too.

The history said that Catalina and Diego never rested in peace, and they appear all nights arround two O'clock in the same squear with the same clothes, ran arround the street and fallen down in the same corner.

Girl meets boy

Is a romantic novel about a girl who falls in love with a boy, and it’s written by Derek Strange. The story begins in July... a 21st of July. The plot moves on the first week of summer vacations in England, for two weeks. She meets the boy in a boat, and you get to know about both of their stories. The book starts with the girl's story.

Donna's History

The girl is looking the sea together with her sister. Then she saw him, he looked a bit shy. The boy on a white and blue shirt, was with some friends suddenly he looked at her. The girl was very happy, and wished that they were going to meet again. 

Later that same evening, the girl went to the disco. She was waiting for him After a while he came in the room. A boy as looking for her. He walked and asked her to dance. They danced a long time, and after, the second tall boy, same to another guy, came in the door, his face was shy and now she knew that she was dancing with the wrong guy, his name are Dave and he is a shy boy's brother.

The next day she stood up. He wasn't at the café, she wanted so much to see him.

Mark's History

Mark started Spanish at school, and his teacher always takes some of his students to visit Spain the two first weeks of the summer vacation. Mark was very shy, he and some friends watched the sea and were talking. Then he saw a girl, she was lovely but he was shy, Mark really likes her but he didn't talk to her. 

He wanted to see her. Maybe in the Café or the cinema, but he didn't see her. Then he went to the disco, and he saw the lovely girl together with Dave, his brother. His heart is broken at the moment and he leaves the disco, but he is still thinking about the girl. The next morning he looked for her but she didn't here.

When the girl meets boy

The ship arrived to Comillas, Santander. A small town where many people enjoy in its coffee shops, cinema and the disco. Donna and her family was here in Santander, she is very shy and think every time about the boy who knows in the ship a few days ago, she didn't want to look or listen or dance.

While Mr and Mrs Webb, (the teacher and his wife) wanted to go to a little place near the beach. They wanted to have a good time on their first evening iin Spain and later there was the disco in the square at Comillas, but Mark didn't want to go, he didn't want to eat or dance or talk and laugh, he wanted to sit stay quiet and think about that good looking girl on the ship.

Later he walked into the square at Comillas whit his friends, they found a table and they all sat down here.

Mark looked at the people at the tables near them, while Donna looked sadly at the people dancing neat her... Suddenly he looked at her, and she looked at him, the time stopped and they smiled at time. He stood up and started to walk across to the disco, their hands met.

She wanted to dance now, he wanted to smile now, with him... with her.

The others watched and smiled, and Dave, Mark's brother smiled too, he was happy because he made a plan for her brother, and his plan worked.

I like this book because is a good romantic story and very funny. I think that, this idea to tell one history but since two different looks is a good idea because you can know all about the characters and when they are see each other. The book is very easy for reading, I had fun so much because I think that the girl never meets the shy boy. I think the author is good because he can draw people with easy reading.

Ben and Feifei discussing about the films that make us cry and why we actually enjoy watching something that makes us burst into tears (cry a lot). And they talk about the language is associated with cryimg.
They take a references about the emotions with the Psychologist called Dr. Averil Leimon what she said the emotions are manipulated because then they're allowed to have them. And the opinion of  Philip Sheppard, Film score composer. He said that the music and movies generate a catharsis, specially when they are in a crowd, people's emotional responses are much more intantaneously responsive.

This program is very interesting because they watch a vision about the movies that us cry a lot, putting a vision of two professionals that they tell us that they thing about de connection between movies and people who watch it. For me, nothing is unusual because I know many movies makes me cry.

Will be... ?

1.- My plans for this week are very important, because I will go to Santiago on Monday, before my Fiestas Patrias' Vacations. I will spend my time betwen clases and homework, specialy English classes with Henry. Also I will go to my cousin's house because she is so sad because her grandmother died last Sunday. 

2.- My plans for the summer aren't special, because I will go to Talca to visit to my parents and maybe I will ho to Buenos Aires, Argentina. But I dont think about this travel and its depends to my parents job. Maybe I will work in the Biblos' library for two or three weeks in the Christmas season

3.- I think that Fernanda will go to many places with her boyfriend and they go to travel arround the world, because Fernanda will be a great businesgirl. She will spend all the time in Tahiti or another beach in the Central America or the Caribean, but I think that she will have a house in France or other country in Europe. She will be loved for many peoples because she is a good person and big boos.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Mark Twain (1835-1910) is a famous American writer. His name was Samuel Clemens. Young Samuel lived in Missouri, a small town on the Mississippi River. Hi loves adventures. Then he went to Nevada. He looked for treasure, but he didn’t find it. He worked for a newspaper there.

The book tell the story about a young boy who name is Tom Sawyer, he has twelve or threteen years old, (in the book never tell about the age of Tom.)
He is a boy who lives with her aunt Polly, he lives more adventures because he is a clever and naughty boy, he always gets in troubles and his aunt Poly scold him. All the book tell about many histories of Tom and his friend Huckleberry Finn arround one big history.
When Tom and Huck goe to the cementery and saw Joe murdered a men, but the drunk men of the town is guilty about the murder. Is tom who declared that the man is inocent and Joe is that who kill the men. All town (está asombrado por) the Tom's confession and Joe is founded guilty, but Joe escape.
Time after Tom goes to the cave with Becky, (his friend that become in her girlfriend) but they were lost for three days and the town try to fund them but they (logran salir de la cueva), while Huck watches the malefactors, who try found a treasure but Huck hear all the bad things that they make, and he scaped faster to the cave and whent for help, but once again the bad men scape into the cave. The sheriff clossing the cave and Joe with others men die into the cave. After that situation, Tom and huck found the treasure in the cave. The Judge Douglas' widow adopted Huck and give him a good education, but the boy doesn't bear and he gone to live in the shores of the Mississipi river, and this history finish when Mark Twain said that two boys become in a young men.

I supossed to say that this history happens in the year 1945 because in this time the boys worked so much.

I love this book because the history is the most funny and thriller history I could have reed when I was a child, I really love Tom and Huck because that childs are most inteligents than all the adults in the book and Tom always take a chance have fun when all of his adventures. I recomended the book to all the people who like adventures.

I don't know about you but im feeling 22

Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter. Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Taylor moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen to pursue a career in country music. The release of Swift's debut album in 2006 established her as a country music star. Taylor is known for her narrative songs about her experiences as a teenager and young adult.

Her most famous songs are: "Love Story", "Our Song", "Mine", "Mean", "We are never ever getting back together", "you belong with me", "Ronan" and the newest song  "I knew you were trouble" and "22".

I really love all Taylor's songs but my favorites songs are "I knew you were trouble", "Mine" and "22". Because they are these those who more identify me and my experiences. I love Taylor Swift and her music because she try to show to people that the worst situations always can be overcome.

She is the best thing that’s ever been mine

I have four best friends, Nicolás, Willians, Catalina and Magdalena. But I can tell us about Magdalena.
She is my best friend since 2010 and I knew her on Internet. She changed in my best friend when I saw for first time, Mai is her nickname and she is more than my best friend, is my sister and my other half.
She always completes my sentences and me too, we laugh about everything and we are crazy girls when we see each other. She is my best friend because we have similar personality and we have much things in common. We like so much many different TV series, movies and hobbies. We never argue, we are besties  =)

She knows me very well and I know her very well too, because we spend a lot of time together. We always call each other, twice or three times in a day.

I really love Mai because she is once of my "VIP"

I'm Simona and I was born on December, 28, 1988. I don't like my name because is bored for me. So, you can call me Simo, is my nickname and I love it.

I have a funny education, because I went to four schools around my life and I changed  city and I went to Talca, Maule, seventh region.
My father is Guillermo and my mother is Paz, they live in Talca while I study, I really miss them because they are the most important part of my life, and they know me very well. I love my parents because they have a perfect knowledge about many things, since politic to religion.
I have two dogs, Lupo and Thor and it is another part to my family. My dogs always make me laugh.

In my free time I love watch series on the internet because thats series teach me and entertain all the time. Another activity to my free time is go out to my house to any place, when I can go out to my house and walk.
One or twice to the month, I go to Starbucks or cinema with my best friend Magdalena. I know Magdalena four years ago and she is my best friend at first time I saw.

I talk to Magdalena every day, because she is part of my free time on internet too. Because I'm a Roleplayer on tumblr (a internet site). In Tumblr I have more friends of others countries, Argentina, Mexico, Spain and Dominican Republic.
